Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy 15th Annual Preservation Awards Ceremony

On Thursday night—yes, this Thursday May 28, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00—the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy is hosting its annual preservation awards ceremony at the splendid and magical Loew’s Jersey Theatre.

The JCLC will be handing out awards to homeowners, developers, and architects who have renovated or preserved historic property throughout Jersey City and to individuals who championed local history and culture through writing or activism. This year’s marquee honoree will be the novelist Richard Price.

A ticket—only $35—will get you a seat at the awards ceremony, a buffet dinner, drinks from an open bar, and a guided tour of the Loew’s. In addition to enjoying good company, you’ll be helping the JCLC with its local preservation goals and historical awareness efforts.

If you don’t have any plans, check it out. We’ll be there.
