Halloween is Coming! An October Event

Recently, I’ve hinted at researching Washington Irving for a hitherto unnamed event. Now, it’s official!

In late October, I’ll participate in an evening on Washington Irving at the Apple Tree House. After a dramatic reading of Irving’s “Guests from Gibbet Island,” I’ll place the story in context and discuss Irving’s connection to Jersey City.

This should be a great night of ghost stories and history. Perfect for Halloween.
