Winter Writing

Although I’m deeply immersed in my biography on horror writer H.P. Lovecraft and his years in New York City, I’m finding time for smaller writing projects this winter. My desk is my favorite place at home.

The Urban History Association’s The Metropole recently published my review of Neighborhood by Emily Talen. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to writing future pieces for this great blog dedicated to understanding the city.

As a tease of my forthcoming book on Lovecraft and a sequel to my earlier story, I wrote “H.P. Lovecraft Heads Uptown” for Urban Archive. Look for future stories on Lovecraft and New York City in the months to come. In the meantime, wander through New York and its history with the Urban Archive.

If you read either of my pieces, I hope that you’ll share your thoughts.
